Playing with light, shadow and ... pears

They say if life gives you lemons, make a lemonade. What if your life gives you pears?

Such was the dilemma on one fine morning.

The sunlight was low over the kitchen counter top. Usual household things, such as a knife and fork, cast long, interesting shadows.

I decided to find beauty in ordinary things.
